TryMotion ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. When you create an account using Auth0 authentication, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Profile picture (if provided through social login)
  • Authentication identifiers and tokens

1.2 User-Uploaded Content

To provide our video generation service, we temporarily process:

  • Images you upload (photos of people or characters)
  • Videos you record or import (motion reference videos)

This content is processed temporarily for video generation and is not permanently stored on our servers. See Section 5 for more details on data storage and retention.

1.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:

  • Video generation history and preferences
  • Credit balance and transaction history
  • App feature usage and interactions
  • Error logs and diagnostic data
  • Date and time of App access

1.4 Device Information

We collect device-specific information including:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV)
  • App version
  • Language and timezone settings

1.5 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Precise geolocation data
  • Contact lists or address books
  • Financial information (payments are processed by Apple)
  • Health or biometric data

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the App and its features, including video generation, account management, and credit transactions

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each service has its own privacy practices:

4.1 Auth0 (Authentication)

4.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase data from the Apple App Store to track your credit balance. For more information, visit RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4.3 Apple App Store

All credit purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple handles payment processing and we do not receive or store your payment card information. For more information, visit Apple's Privacy Policy.

4.4 AI Generation Providers (Replicate/Kling AI)

We use AI providers to process your images and videos for motion transfer. When you generate a video:

  • Your content is securely transmitted to the AI provider using encrypted connections
  • Content is processed in real-time to generate the animated video
  • Your original content is not permanently stored by the AI provider after processing
  • Generated videos are delivered directly to your device

5. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

5.1 Content Processing

Your uploaded images and videos are processed as follows:

  • Content is temporarily transmitted to AI servers for video generation
  • Processing typically completes within minutes
  • Original content is automatically deleted from processing servers after generation completes
  • Generated videos are delivered to and stored only on your device
  • We do not retain copies of your uploaded content or generated videos

5.2 Account Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Account information: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion
  • Transaction history: Retained as required by applicable financial and tax laws
  • Usage data: Retained for a limited period, then anonymized for analytics
  • Error logs: Retained temporarily for debugging purposes

5.3 Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Secure authentication through Auth0 with optional multi-factor authentication
  • Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App itself does not use cookies. However, our website (trymotion.ai) may use essential cookies for functionality. Our third-party service providers (Auth0, RevenueCat) may use their own tracking technologies as described in their respective privacy policies.

We do not engage in cross-app tracking or share data with advertising networks. We respect Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

8.1 Access

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a portable, machine-readable format.

8.2 Correction

You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

8.3 Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions (such as compliance with legal obligations or defense of legal claims). Note that deleting your account will result in permanent loss of any remaining credits.

8.4 Restriction and Objection

You may request that we restrict processing of your personal information or object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8.5 Data Portability

You may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

8.6 Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8.7 Opt-Out of Communications

You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or adjusting your notification settings in the App.

8.8 Exercising Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 14. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under the applicable age, we will promptly delete such information.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country.

When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
